The use of social media may increase the risk of privacy invasion. to elaborate , i think the main cause of this problem is when people use social networking sites, their personal information(such as their real name, ID number, phone number, etc.) will be collected by the companies running the websites, which probably cause the leakage of this information. if people don’t use these platforms, their personal information won’t be collected and the leakage of this information won’t happen then. For example, I’ve used some social networking sites, like Facebook and Twitter, and soon after received a lot of sales calls and fraud calls , which have had a huge negative impact on my daily life; many of my friends also have such experience. therefore , I firmly believe that people using social media would cause the leakage of their personal information.

当人们使用这些网站 —> 首先要注册 forced to register，这意味着他们需要填写一些个人信息，例如真实姓名，身份证ID，手机号码等等。(additionally) 这些网站也会收集用户的浏览记录以及搜索记录 browsing history and search history. 甚至，平台可能非法监听、监控用户的电子设备 be monitored illegally 以获取更多隐私信息 —> 他们的个人信息被运营这些网站的公司收集 —> 这些公司可能会泄露用户的个人信息，因为他们可以从中获利。(Additionally, even through) 这些公司和他们的员工没有泄露用户的信息，这些信息也可能被黑客盗取和泄露 —> …invasion of their privacy 这就是我为何会认为使用社交网站可能导致个人信息的泄露。
